“REAFFOREST”
TREES had inspired the first HUMAN language - OGHAM. Irish artist Katie Holten gave OGHAM Latin letters correlation and reflected it back to TREES. HUMANS and TREES are in unity as we share the same language. The 10 letter word REAFFOREST from James Joyce’s “Ulysses” written in OGHAM with TREES in this project inspired by Katie Holten’s Irish Tree Alphabet represents changing our ways from consuming to giving back; not going back to the past but going back to our human roots; by REAFFORESTing the land, making it stronger and healthier- we are striving to be happier as HUMANS.
